Sunny Sunday & The Jerk Whisperer!

Today was a Sunny Sunday! It was oh so pretty outside, so Bradley and I went with some of our friends to the beach for snorkeling & sun! We had a fantastic time! I love good friends. :) Although we are super sunburned, (some rash guard I have) it was a good day.

Following the beach time we went to another friend's home... and they have a newborn. Oh me oh my if I thought I had baby fever before, I sure do have it now. It's baaad! He's so cute. :) I love babies! Dinner was de-lish, and our boys had a nice time playing video games while the us ladies chit chatted about babies and whatnot. Sigh, all in all we had a fantastic day!

Now, for "The Jerk Whisperer"...

I saw this on pinterest, and it made me think about some stuff lately.

It makes me just remember how important it ISN'T to try to please everyone. I am finally happy with the circle of people that surround me. I have the people who are in my life now there for a reason. I love the positive energy surrounding us! Life is GOOD! Haters gonna hate, but I recycle drama. :)

Craft Corner!

So our Friday, bad weather and all, turned out to be awesome!
When hubs got home, we got ready and went out into town in search of mischief. We found it!

There's this cute little furniture store here called Gotham City Furnishings, and it has old furniture from hotels and other random places. Well, it just so happens that I've been looking for floor lamps and ta-da! They had some! So, we decided to get two. They were green (I wish I had taken before pictures!!) and gold. Not ugly, but not what we were looking for. So, we decided that we would paint them to match the new rug that I let my husband pick out. He's been dying to contribute an "old" rug to our home for quite some time... so I let him. I don't love it, but I don't hate it either. 

ANYWHO! We're painting the lamps burgundy with a creamy color around the accent areas. They aren't finished yet, but they are looking c-u-t-e! I am very pleased with the way they are turning out, and I can't wait to get to Virginia so that we can get into more messes with frugal finds! Pictures to come!

Fantastic Friday!?

Well, I'm back! Again! Hopefully I'll be better about this.

Let me start off by introducing you to my little family!

& last but not least, our beautiful furbaby, Apollo.

 

 

I love my little family! We are currently living in GUAM, USA.

We FINALLY got orders, and up next is Yorktown, VA. Woo! We PCS in November.

I'll be sharing tidbits of our life & things we learn along the way!

As for Fantastic Friday, the weather isn't too fantastic. There's a tropical storm off the coast of Guam, and now the weather is like a monsoon. :( SO, when hubby comes home from work we have to find something productive to do indoors. I say shopping! ;) We have a ton of neat outlet stores here in Guam, I'm sure we can find something to do/buy!
